You have two more days to download Valve's mind-blowing puzzle for free. The generous offer is a part of "Learn With Portals" programme. Now, apparently Portal can be used in schools to help study science, mathematics and engineering. How does that work? Honestly, I have no idea. Portal and its sequel are works of genius, a vision straight from the future. Videogame industry spent a long time... more. -

For those familiar with Valve, it is not uncommon for them to do something like this. The game itself is pulling great numbers, with almost three quarters of a million copies being sold on release day. Unlike some other DLC's from Valve however, it will be available for all 3 platforms. These include PC/Mac, XBox 360, and the PS3. This DLC will include new test chambers with accompanying leade... more. -
Portal 2 Review (PC)
1 CommentsPosted by Terry Franklin on April 22, 2011 under Featured, PC ReviewsPortal was an incredible success when it was released in 2007. It was a witty, charming, addictive romp through a virtual puzzle world. The puzzle design was inspired, forcing gamers to think laterally. With 19 test rooms and a final battle with the sarcastic computer AI GlaDOS it was awarded game of the year by many publications and still remains in the list of top ten PC titles of all time for m... more. -

Has Valve dedicated valuable resources and time to Steam, that could have been directed towards Half life development? Let's analyse this a bit further and see what we find. First off let's take a look at a statement Brad Wardell made: "e could have become a retailer and tried to compete in t... more. -

Portal
0 CommentsPosted by admin on September 10, 2009 under PC ReviewsArriving as the quiet lesser-known extra game in Valve's Orange Box, Portal tries to reimagine the puzzle genre. Anyone who has played any of the Half Life franchise of shooter titles know the Valve like puzzles. Portal provides an interesting distraction, good for two or three hours of play. For this playtest we are tying the PC version. In Portal you play an unnamed character created by the Ap... more. -
