While it's not been given the thumbs up by Bethesda, fan of Skyrim, Mardoxx, has been digging around in the 1.8 beta source code and discovered what appears to be clues that the next DLC update for the Elder Scrolls game will let players ride dragons. Said to be called Dragonborn, the upcoming and unannounced DLC will also apparently add the ability for dual magic casting from horseback and whi... more.
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Review (PS3)

The Tekken series was the first fighting game franchise that I fell in love with. I had played games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc. before but when I first played Tekken 2 I was instantly hooked on it and have since owned every subsequent game. Not every entry has been stellar but overall I've generally enjoyed each game in the series. That being said, Namco Bandai's latest entry in... more.

Darksiders 2 is the second installment of Vigil Games action rpg series. The series is based around a unique take on the concept of the four horseman of the apocalypse. In the first game we followed War, who was framed for starting the apocalypse ahead of schedule, and throwing earth into chaos. This recent game happens alongside some of the events from the previous and centers around War's bro... more.

Transformers is a property that has a very dedicated fanbase. People who view characters like Optimus Prime as childhood heroes have grown up clutching those nostalgic memories tightly. It can be hard adding to such a property, and getting it wrong (such as Michael Bay's movies) can gain the ire of many of its biggest fans . Now I was born mid-late 80's so I didn't really spend much of my chi... more.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man Review (PS3)

The Amazing Spider-Man is a game by Beenox released in tandem with the recent reboot of the movie franchise. Its biggest hook in its advertising was bringing Spider-Man “back to New York”, basically allowing players to once again control Spider-Man in an open environment and web swing to their heart's content. Now I have been a huge fan of the comic book hero since I was young. Collecting... more.
  • Spec Ops: The Line Review (PS3)

Allow me to open this review with some honesty. I am not generally a fan of real life setting military shooters. The idolizing of soldiers and glorification of war as a simple battle of heroes (American troops) versus villains (Russians, terrorists, etc.) never really sat well with me. Add to that the fact I generally don't care about online multiplayer in the FPS/ TPS genres means I tend to ... more.
  • Dragon’s Dogma Review (PS3)

Dragon's Dogma was a game that was hiding just under the radar until a couple of months before release. Suddenly, all this information and gameplay depicting epic battles with fantastic, giant monsters started being hyped. I certainly hadn't paid much attention to it until then, but experiencing the demo where I got to tangle with both a Chimera and a Griffin had me sold. Unfortunately, for eve... more.
