Mortal Kombat is due to be released on April 19th in North America, and April 21st in the UK. We were scanning through some of our sources this morning, and came across a 1.01 patch release for the game. The patch is reportedly 40 MB in size, and will download automatically when the player first installs the game.
Our concern involves reviews of this game on various sites. Was this patch available for reviewers with their evaluation copies?
We found no record of exactly what this patch fixes or changes. Considering the timing of the patch release however, it must be important. Kitguru will keep you informed if any more information becomes available on this.

Its a good thing, at least they are trying to take every step possible to ensure this game goes down a storm. pile on the updates I say, we dont have 56k anymore.
