If you thought Double Fine’s Amnesia Fortnite pitches were exciting, wait till you see one of the prototypes currently in development, under team leader Brad Muir, the man behind the previous Double Fine release, Iron Brigade.
See what I mean?
While it’s still in the prototype phase and features just one level, it already has a four player cooperative mode and the boss enemy available looks badass. There is also varied difficulty levels and three different character classes to choose from. To get access to it, you’ll nee to pay above the average for the current Double Fine Humble Bundle prototype package. Of course by doing so you also get access to the other couple of game prototypes and a vote in the pitch phase of Amnesia Fortnite.
So far the bundle, announced just yesterday, has received over 12,000 purchases, bringing in more than $80,000. The average purchase price is just over $6.50, which is higher than the average Humble Bundle gets. However the number of buys is way down – but that was to be expected considering the fact that there are no full games being offered here. It probably also doesn’t help that there’s another Humble Bundle offering going on at exactly the same time.
KitGuru Says: I’ll be checking this out later tonight. Anyone that wants to play, look out for “Whoopty” on Steam or whatever matchmaking service this thing has.
