AMD announces new AAA GPU games bundle

AMD has announced a new games bundle bringing some of the most anticipated upcoming games to the highest of the high end graphics cards it has available. This is in addition to the games we profiled being added to each new GPU release back in October, making for an impressive line up of games.

For anyone buying up a single 7900 series GPU, you’ll receive two download codes, one for visual treat-fest Crysis 3 and another for more story focused Bioshock Infinite. If you happen to buy a 7800 series card, you’ll get the a download code for the upcoming Tomb Raider, along with Bioshock Infinite and one of insanity inducing Far Cry 3.

You'll need a coupon to redeem these games, so make sure you get one

However, should you be thinking of going all out and buying two cards, as long as you stick to the 7800 or 7900 range, you get everything. That’s download codes for: Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman Absolution and Far Cry 3.

Of course with some of these games not being available yet, it’ll be a few weeks before you can fully experience your new graphics cards with these latest games, but you haven’t too long to wait. Crysis 3 is out in just over two weeks, while Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite both hit the shelves in March.

Matt Skynner, current corporate vice president at AMD said “The Never Settle: Reloaded bundle clearly stands apart from anything else in the market. Gaming has always been, and will remain, the core of the AMD Graphics strategy and success. In 2013, we plan to forge greater inroads into the gaming industry and it begins with packaging this year’s biggest games with the best graphics hardware from AMD.”

KitGuru Says: If you plan to buy one of these bundles, make sure that the place you get them from is definitely doing the deal, as you’ll need to redeem the downloads from the AMD portal, so you’ll need the coupon code to do so.

That doesn’t even make sense. If I happen to buy a 79er card that actually costs more I get less worth of codes than If were to get a 78er card??

You get more games if you buy 2 cards. You get different ones with the 78xx.

    Hi.

Just want to make you aware the current AMD Offer “Never Settle Reloaded” which you reviewed here (http://hexus.net/gaming/news/industry/51329-amds-new-never-settle-reloaded-games-bundle/) doesnt actually work for a 7990 in the UK.

I have purchased a PowerColor 7990 last week from eBuyer who were on AMDs approved seller list and they would only give me Crysis3 and Bioshock voucher they said they dont participate in the (6 game deal), I thought about returning it and buying a 7990 from Scan or Overclockers UK who are both also on the AMD approved list. After having a nightmare with a Scan rep trying to explain about the promotion, they said they would only provide Crysis3 & Bioshock if I bought a 7990 and OcUK also said the same on their forums! The only other UK supplier on AMDs approved seller list is Novatech and they dont sell the 7990.

So AMDs reloaded promotion offering up to 6 games doesnt work in the UK :/

There is nowhere to buy it..

I tried to contact AMD over a week ago but they have not yet responded. I hope you can help or raise some awareless about this as I was really disappointed esp after AMDs high profile advertising of this promotion.

I was really looking forward to the deal they offered as well :/

None of the above retailers make this clear, its only once you receive your voucher you find this out.

Hope This might help some others.

A few people have suggested this problem JM. Just to confirm, were you buying two cards? As that’s apparently the only way to get the six games. It does say that in the initial post.
