Frogster Interactive has announced their upcoming MMO release, TERA, will be delayed until the Spring of 2012. We have been told these delays were necessary to integrate new content, and additional features into the game.
For those contemplating a 2011 release don’t be discouraged. Frogster has some good news for adept followers, which include both Alpha and Beta testing availability. Concrete dates have yet to be confirmed, but you Kitguru’s keep your eyes peeled for a 2011 Alpha release. This will be proceeded by the Beta release in early 2012.

As for the game itself it is a MMORPG, so obviously is set in a World of fantasy and wonder. Two key elements for the decision to delay the game involve the combat and political systems. Frogster claims these will be completely unique to the MMO gaming scene. TERA is available as a PC only title, and there is no mention of console porting or development.
Kitguru: Sometimes a bit more time and preparation, equals perfection. Time will tell.
