At the end of June game developer Flying Wild Hog issued a Press release, indicating a yet unnamed title was on it’s way. Hard Reset was officially announced today, and is described as a dark Sci-Fi FPS. Let’s move along and look at the teaser trailer, as well as some of the other information we were sent.
Hard Reset is being released as a PC only title, which is becoming a rarity in gaming today. The game is also Flying Wild Hog’s debut release, but they are not without experienced members. In fact some of the 35 members on this Polish development team have worked with People Can Fly, CD Projekt RED, and City Interactive. Those familiar with gaming in general will certainly remember titles like Bulletstorm, Painkiller, The Witcher 2, and Sniper. As far as game engines and optimizations the Flying Wild Hog team have their own tools, they call Road Hog technology.
The game itself is set in what is described as the last human city of Bezoar. Major Fletcher, a soldier of the CLN and Army combat veteran, will lead you to the reason why. We don’t have much more to share but will keep the Kitguru readers updated as we are. The game is slated for release this September, on the PC platform as aforementioned.
Kitguru says: Are you feeling optimistic for a great new title from a new company?
