Sony has announced that the Vita handheld, due in Europe in early 2012, will support Facebook, foursquare, Skype and Twitter. What's more surprising, these applications will be available for free. Vita, although not a phone (against early speculation) already features 3G internet and GPS. For those of you who thought The Witcher 2 was hard, comes a new, even more challenging RPG experience. While Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3 are more or less neck and neck in the UK (the latest figures put the 360 at 3.9 million and the PS3 at 3 million sales) in Japan, the same cannot be said in Japan. BioWare, the developer behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age series has announced at GamesCom today it is working on a free-to-play MMO titled Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes.
