Too bad this wasn’t out in time for the holidays.  The Silent Hill Collection consists of Silent Hill 2 and 3 with new voiceovers and high-definition graphics.  Not long to wait now – just two weeks before the collection is released (January 24th in the US and January 27th in Europe and Australia). Last month Trine 2 was released on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.  It is a wonderful fantasy puzzle platformer with truly phenomenal graphics that have critics raving. The Q*bert world record remains untouched.  The latest attempt happened this past weekend by George Leutz in New Jersey – 57 hours and 40 minutes with a final score of 26,721,915.  The record remains at a whopping 33 million, expected to take over 70 hours of gameplay.  Maybe Leutz should try for the longest drum marathon on Rock Band, since the world record is only half the time of Leutz’s... more.

People and their world records.  Can you imagine forgoing sleep to play a video game for over 70 hours straight?!!  George Leutz is currently in the midst of attempting to beat a 28-year-old world record for Q*Bert and is already over 24 hours into the challenge.  It is his third attempt so far.
