This 'announcement' came during the latest instalment of the Totally Rad Show, where Burch said that the company was already discussing ideas for the n... more.

  • Mark of the Ninja Review (XBLA)

It's amusing to think that, despite how popular a subject for video games they might be, 'Ninja' are rarely shown as stealthy assassins. Games like Ninja Gaiden or the upcoming Metal Gear Revengeance tend to favor 'over the top' action instead of careful sneaking through the shadows. The Tenchu series was probably the last franchise I can think of that tried to focus on ninja being assassins. Fe... more.

Director of production for Splinter Cell: Blacklist over at Ubisoft, David Footman, has admitted that the game isn't about stealth like the early Sam Fisher games, but about "stealth, action and adventure." The direction the series has taken has continually angered fans of the original titles, with the last one: Splinter Cell: Conviction, drawing plenty of ire. With the upcoming release of Blac... more.

While we saw the first teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Zombies mode just a couple of days ago, Treyarch has now released a full trailer and it seems clear from the footage that this isn't just a slapped on game mode, but practically a full game in itself. Like before, the trailer begins the with bus pulling up, the same damaged sign and the same shots of an abandoned, desolate... more.

Priced at £3.99, it's a point and click adventure game, with a crude rumour that is likely to appeal to Steam fans. If you already own it, having bought it from the original develop... more.
  • US cable companies could bring streaming gaming to mainstream

So far streaming gaming hasn't been much of a threat to console manufacturers. OnLive and Gaikai are the two big names in that industry and the former of them had to be saved from administration earlier this year - while the latter got bought by Sony. They both offer the ability to play AAA games without needing the high end hardware usually required, but due to latency issues, the need for extra ... more.

EA Games has closed the PopCap Dublin studios, just over a year and a quarter since it bought out the casual game developer and a month since 50 other employees were fired from the US branch. Apparently most of the 96 people affected by the closure will be offered places at other PopCap or EA studios, but of course that would mean up and moving to a different location. However there are quite a... more.

In what could be the most surprising and hard to believe rumour to come out of the Half Life 3 speculation mill, French publication Jornaldugamer is suggesting that the next game to feature Gordon Freeman, could be an open world, quest and NPC filled RPG. Speaking with a "her" that the site claims was "close to Valve", the site said that HL3 will still be an FPS, but it will take place over a l... more.
