Peter Molyneux recently left the company he founded, Lionhead Studios, to create a new one called 22 Cans. There he's been developing a game and a concept, the latter of which the world had its first view of during the Unite 2012 conference. Psygnosis, renamed to SCE Studio Liverpool in the early 2000s, has been officially closed by parent company Sony. For those of you recognising the logo but not necessarily the name, this is the company that made Lemmings, Destruction Derby, Wipeout, Wiz 'n' Liz and a huge library of other games. A short teaser trailer for a new iOS game based in the Warhammer universe has been released, making this the first time Games Workshop (GW) has allowed its IP be used for a mobile title. More evidence has appeared that the sequel to gravity bending, native American vs aliens title, Prey, has been cancelled, since Bethesda has now removed it from its lineup on the official website. People have a certain fascination with the glorified pop culture images of rogues throughout history. Two new screenshots have been released for the Walking Dead first person shooter from Terminal Reality (the guys behind Star Wars Kinect) and Activision, set to feature TV show brothers Daryl and Merle Dixon as they make their way to Atlanta, where it is presumed safety awaits them. Crytek and EA have been showing off a new multiplayer mode for Crysis 3 at Gamescom, known as Hunter mode, which pits two 'hunters' in nanosuits, sporting compound bows, vs a team of up to 14 Cell soldiers, equipped with comparatively weak armour, but high powered assault rifles. Fernando Melo, head of online development at Bioware has said that he's a fan of day on DLC and that it offers the best choice for gamers.
