A new study by Game Developer Magazine has highlighted the disparity between men and women in the gaming industry, not just in terms of their numbers too, but in their annual salary, with female producers earning eight per cent less than their male counterparts. However if you stray into more hands on fields, like art or designing, women earn 23 per cent and 29 per cent less on average. Step in... more.

Vigil games was the THQ owned developer that made both Darksiders 1 and Darksiders 2, before going under when THQ was split up and sold off. Fortunately a lot of the guys that made up its staff were saved by Cytek, who formed a new studio called called Crytek USA. • BioShock Infinite (PC) Review

2 CommentsPosted by on March 29, 2013 under Featured, PC Reviews
BioShock was remarkable when it was released on the PC, and my memories of playing the game will remain with me forever. It exhibited such wonderful stylised graphics and charming story line that it was difficult not to fall in love with it. The second game was also entertaining, but sadly it didn't grab my attention in quite the same way. BioShock Infinite was released this week and there is n... more.

A preview poster for Battlefield 4 has been uncovered, showing that the game is set for release in "Fall 2013," which for those of us on this side of the pond, means Autumn. It also shows us a rendering of a soldier from the game, dressed in contemporary or near-future gear, so don't expect a space age Battlefield just yet. This leaked image comes from Gamersky (via VGLeaks) and also shows a pr... more.

If you happen to want that first taste of the skyward game to be a little more difficult though, you can unlock the game's super-hard "... more.

  • These nerds are hilarious and so, so embarassing

I rarely point the finger at other people for being nerds, because my girl would slap my head and call me a hypocrite. I like to dabble in a bit of everything: board games, comics, wargaming, technology, consoles, PC games; name a geeky activity and I've probably taken a stab at it at some point in the past decade. However here, I really have to do it, because it seems like a big group of people t... more.
