With all the high tech graphics oriented games coming out like Crysis 2, Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat, we here at Kitguru decided to touch on something a little lighter. This is also a debut for Indie’s new developer Epic Pixel, and Grow is an Android exclusive. The Epic Pixel team is comprised of two brothers, Nick and Chris Sha, and brand new for 2011.
As we can see from the trailer this looks like a light and enjoyable game, allowing hours of playability. The setting and scope are quite simple, you are a fish! Grow spans 64 levels, throughout 7 unique environments. Let’s take a quick look at the features and enhancements as listed by Epic Pixels:
- 64 levels with 7 stunning environments
- 7 endless survival levels with global leader board
- Intuitive on-screen virtual joystick with multi-touch support
- Dynamic fishes and variable sizes offers a different experience every play
- Five unique power-ups with 17 upgrades to unlock
