Test Drive Unlimited was a classic game and one that kept me occupied for many, many months. Is the long awaited follow up any good? I have spent the last two weeks trying to get to grips with the somewhat flawed sequel. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit has set a new benchmark for an arcade racer and Gran Turismo and Forza 3 have moved the goalposts for fantastic, addictive simulations. Where does T... more.

Hands up if you like Oblivion: Elder Scrolls? If so, then Two Worlds II is going to certainly tickle your gaming taste buds. The game plays in a very similar manner, with wide open interactive worlds and addictive gameplay. Compared to the first, it is a huge improvement, but we aren't sure if that is such a difficult task. Two Worlds II is not a perfect game, there are problems. It won't ever ... more.

For the last few weeks I have been locked away in my room, playing the new DC Universe Online MMO. Being a self professed World Of Warcraft addict, I normally expect other MMO's to pale in comparison, but I have found this title to become massively addictive, especially for such an early stage of development. The characters in the new DC Universe online really need no introduction, and this wil... more.
  • Dead Space 2 (PC) Review

I was a huge fan of the first Dead Space game, the eerie atmosphere and horror style shocks had me jumping at every corner. I also felt a certain kinship with retired engineer Isaac Clarke, he wasn't a gun totting steroid injected one man army - more a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. Three years have passed since the last venture into the realms of outer space and Isaac Clarke has alm... more.

My first review for KitGuru is for a strategy game that many hardcore gamers will never admit to playing. Bejeweled has been one of the crowning achievements for PopCap games, selling millions of copies and addicting people of all ages to their console or handheld device. PopCap have released the latest version of the game on the PC, V3 - a match three classic title that is extremely easy to pl... more.
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – Vietnam Review (PC)

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Vietnam has already been a focal point for criticism thanks to the hefty £10 asking price in the UK. When Activision charged the same (1200 Microsoft points) for Modern Warfare 2 map packs the gaming public were in an uproar. Thankfully, after a week of playtesting I can happily report that Vietnam is offering a lot for the multiplayer addict. Basically, Vietnam is... more.

Emergency 2012 is quickly turning into a cult classic, escaping the attention of the mainstream gaming audience. The real time strategy simulator puts you in control of the emergency services as you try to save people from a plethora of of natural disasters, tragic accidents and terrorist threats. The game is displayed from a top down viewpoint and you get control of various emergency forces, s... more.

Super fast cars and gorgeous women, its a geek's dream. Sure we can't afford either, but thanks to Electronic Arts we can enjoy part of the experience in the comfort of our own homes (yes the cars bit of the equation you dirty dogs). Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is the kick in the ass the franchise has needed for a long time - fast and furious style car chases with the police in the world's most ex... more.
  • Lara Croft and the Guardian Of Light (PC) Review

When I was asked to review this game I will admit I groaned in expectant anticipation of yet another third person adventure romp through various boring jungles. To say that this series has become a monumental bore to me would be the understatement of the year. Thankfully this is probably the best game featuring Lara Croft in the last decade. Best of all, it only costs a tenner on Steam! Strap y... more.
  • Mafia 2 Review (all platforms)

Mafia 2 was always going to have a hard task at hand - the original was easily one of the finest games ever released with a compelling storyline and immersive 3rd person gameplay. Sadly we have ended up disappointed with 2k Czech's latest sequel, it lacks heart and soul instead relying on a glossy overcoat in the attempt to sell itself. The game is quick to impress with a stunning panoramic... more.
